Privacy Policy

Summary

The Pitanja i odgovori app has no accounts, no registration, no ads and no tracking or analytics. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts or location, and we do not build a profile about you. The whole archive of questions and answers is bundled with the app and works offline.

The app is published as an independent, non-commercial project by the maintainer of pitanjaiodgovori.ba. For any privacy question, write to [email protected].

Data stored on your device

Your favourites, your history of viewed questions and your app settings (theme, text size, search options) are stored only on your phone. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.

History can be turned off in the app settings, and both favourites and history can be cleared there. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it. If you have an operating system level backup enabled, such as iCloud Backup or Android Backup, these files may be included in that backup by Apple or Google under their own terms.

When the app uses the internet

The app is built to work offline. It connects to the internet only in these cases.

• Search. If online search is enabled, the text you type in the search field is sent to our server so it can find the best matching questions. Nothing that identifies you or your device is sent with it, and search terms are kept only as anonymous statistics that help us improve the archive. Online search can be turned off in the settings, and without it search runs entirely on your device. Please do not type personal or sensitive information into the search field.
• Content updates. The app occasionally downloads a newer version of the offline archive. No data about you is sent.
• Video answers. Answers link to YouTube videos. When you open a video, it plays through YouTube's official player in privacy enhanced mode, and Google processes the playback under the Google privacy policy. We receive nothing about what you watched.
• External links. Opening a link, sharing a question or reporting a mistake hands the action over to your browser, YouTube app or mail app, which have their own privacy policies.

No tracking and no ads

The app contains no advertising, no analytics or crash reporting SDK and no social media SDK. It does not use advertising identifiers and does not track you across apps, sites or devices for any purpose. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising or marketing. The service providers that host our website and power search act only on our instructions and do not use your searches for their own purposes.

Permissions

The app requests internet access only. It does not request your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, files or calendar.

Children

The app contains reference and religious content that is suitable for all ages, but it is not designed for or directed at children and is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, children included.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and the Bosnian Law on the Protection of Personal Data, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. Since the app keeps no accounts and no user database, we hold no personal data to look up or delete. Everything the app stores about you is on your device and disappears when you uninstall it. Write to [email protected] with any request or complaint, and you may also contact your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, we will publish the updated version on this page with a new date at the top.
